The seal or gasket (or whatever it is) behind the water pump in Kris's (my boyfriend) truck is no good and now water is leaking everywhere! Once again, I will do my best to be his Mechanic Nurse and help him out. My job is to hand him tools or whatever he needs for the job. For some reason, I don't think he trusts me to remove bolts or anything 'cause I'm a girl, lol.
The timing of this whole thing couldn't be worse. We are supposed to be saving money to go to Colorado for his best friends wedding. We leave to drive to Portland on Turkey Day to catch our plane. May have to take a bus to Portland if anything else decides to go wrong with his truck. We already have our plane tickets purchased (obviously) but now we are going to be short on cash while there. Fun. We fly back home on the 30th... That's a long time with no money, lol. But, we will make the best of it and still have a blast while there :)
On to something else... My family, Kris and I are going to have Saturday as our Turkey Day since Kris and I will be gone on the real Turkey Day. Saturday is also my birthday so we are getting two birds with one stone... Much easier that way! We should just pick one day out of the year and celebrate EVERY holiday, lol. That would be a huge money saver! 4th of July, Easter, St. Patty's Day, Christmas, Halloween, Birthdays and whatever other holiday I didn't say... All rolled into one! Sweetness :) Well, maybe on New Years Eve...
Anywho, I should get going. He's in the shower now and he will be ready to start mechanicin' once he's done. Have a great day all! :)

Wood II
So, we all went wood cutting again yesterday. Total chaos! We got to our area and one of our people had fallen a tree already (he was ahead of us). Well, we started cutting the tree and loading the trailer with the wood we had when a man in green pants comes sneaking up on us. Forest Service man!! His truck was nowhere to be seen... When he walked up to us he said he was just out 'wandering around' and heard us so he decided to stop and chat... (I wonder how many times he saw us girls go tinkle in the woods since he was lurking around)

So, we moved down the road. We ended up finding a great spot with lots of trees to be cut down that were unmarked and thinner then 22 inches :) We were happy! We went back to cutting, loading and stacking again. Once we finished for the day, we headed to the trucks to take off and go home. Well, we ended up having to pull start the truck that belongs to the other people that went with us. They hooked up the chain and mom's friend started to tow them in hopes that their truck would start.
Mom's friend says to truck ~ Come on... Suck that fuel up!
Truck ~ Sputter, spat, choke, sputter... Vroom!!
Mom's friend says to truck ~ Atta girl! There she goes!!
Hmm... But, it was yet another eventful day of cutting wood! :)

Wood
I went out today and helped my mother and friends get some wood for the winter. 'Old Red' was loaded to the max! Whew... what a workout...
I am beat now. Some of them logs were pretty big. The two guys cut the wood, I loaded it in the truck and my mother stacked it in the truck. Great teamwork! Now, I'm ready for a shower, dinner and maybe a beer!
It's been quite fun for the amount of hard work it is, lol. I love it because I'm out in the woods enjoying every sound. It's peaceful to me :) We are all going to go back out tomorrow and do it all again!

Angry, Lost or Confused?
I'm having a hard time figuring out which one of those emotions I'm feeling right now. I applied for a job yesterday and they already replied back with a "Sorry, you do not meet our requirements". Hmm... Yet, when I applied, it said that a High School Diploma was a requirement... I have that. And I would have had to take a training course as well. I would have paid for the course myself! I'm so fed up with rejection (not just with jobs but with everything). I am a great person and I deserve great things...
I feel like I'm stuck in this deep rut and I can't climb out. People just keep walking by, kicking dirt in my face, never asking if I need help getting out or giving me a chance to show my worth...
Sorry all, I've got a stress headache and don't feel like writing anymore right now. Later...

If I had...
One Million Dollars *grin*
Ever think about what you would do if you had one million dollars? How would you spend it? Would you save it? I would do both!
First off, I would pay off my bills and be debt free. That's one thing I think most would do. It would be a huge relief to not have debt hanging on my shoulders anymore... It sure does get pretty heavy after a while.
Then, I would think long and hard about where I wanted to live... Somewhere in the hills with beautiful ponderosa pines for sure. I would like to buy some land in those trees with my own private pond and have a 4 bedroom house built. I would stock my pond with bass and fish any time I wanted to and my house would be... A pretty blue with white trim maybe? Or green with white trim? Decisions, decisions... I would have a huge kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a spacious living room. The master bedroom would be big as well with a walk-in closet and the master bathroom would have an old style claw-foot tub. Oh! And hardwood floors through-out my whole house... Bedrooms too!
I would then buy me a top of the line camera and get into photography like I've always wanted to do. Possibly open up my own photography business and hope people like my work well enough to buy pictures.
After all that, I would put the rest into the bank and let it draw interest. Assuming I would still have any left, lol.
